I was so excited to try this on uber eats. Reviews seemed like it was worth looking forward to. It got delivered to me and i was disappointed. It was dry and it was probably a few pieces of chicken. Flavor was good but the quantity and quality was just not what i was expecting.

I’ve been meaning to try this place and glad I finally did. This is a small shop with limited seating (5 tables), but wait times didn’t feel long. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere feels warm and familiar. The menu is concise and the food is well flavored. Portions are great too for the price. Only reason why I can’t give it a full 5 stars is because I haven’t tried their pho yet. Will update when I do. Saigon Bistro is worth the trip whether you’re a local or someone passing through.

at first I only came here one day to pickup an order of flan to-go, but I was captivated by some of their paintings and knew I had to come back. very glad i did, as nice as it was to have flan with the sunset outside, dining in is a great experience with complimentary tea & exclusive dishes like this matcha cake you'll see below! 🍵🍮 unfortunately if you're expecting a Cơm Tấm/Cơm Thịt Nướng dish here with a fried egg, they do not serve any eggs! 😔 but I'll definitely be coming back for the tea & I loved the way they cook their chicken especially, pork is very good too! 🍳❌

Notes- Rating is for the neighborhood. If this were Manhattan, I'd deduct a star, as there are more options, but overall, it was still very tasty. I was back in my old neighborhood a while ago to do some things, and the folks suggested dinner at this small Vietnamese place. We arrived early, which was a good thing, as more and more people came in, including some families, and eventually there was a line of people trying to eat here. The service was friendly, though a tad slow, likely because they were overwhelmed. Since I had a headache, I got a Vietnamese Iced Coffee/Cà Phê Sữa Dá for $5.99. This was properly done, being lightly sweet with plenty of strong coffee flavor. On a side note, instead of the standard sriracha, they have a much tastier Vietnamese brand of hot sauce here, which I appreciated. We started with two appetizers. As they were out of the Curry Chicken Skewers/Gà Xiên Nướng Cà Rị, we started with the Lemongrass Beef Skewers/Bò Nướng Xả for $9.95, served with spring onion, fried onion flakes, and soybean peanut sauce. A small, friendly spot serving satisfying and generous portions of classic Vietnamese dishes. Best for a quick, casual meal. 🍜 The Food Beef Noodle Pho: Portions are big and taste pretty good. Skewer Beef: Also good. 🏠 The Place & Service Size: A very small shop with only about 5 tables. Atmosphere: Can get pretty crowded. Service: The staff are friendly.
